Trusting the Cross Beyond Understanding

14Sep25 (25Triumph) We gather at the foot of the Cross, reminded that belief is more than agreeing with facts—it is a surrender of trust. Like the Israelites who traveled across the camp to gaze on the bronze serpent, we are invited to move toward Jesus even when we cannot see the outcome. God often works in ways that overturn our plans and expectations, transforming weakness, failure, and even death into life. In the Eucharist we echo our “Amen,” trusting that the same Lord who conquered death through death is at work in our own desert places, drawing us into the depths of His saving love.
