Advent is a strange time of preparation. The whole Christian life is a struggle of preparation and purification until the end of our life.

Happy New Year! Advent is a strange time of waiting and preparation even though the whole world is celebrating Christmas all month. Being on watch for a long time can be difficult. We get tired. The spiritual life can seem like a long and tiring fight against sin and toward holiness. Let us remember that Christ has won the war, but we are still in battle. Never give up the fight, keep up the good struggle.
